The new electronic version of the Kosciuszko Foundation dictionary is now available online.

ADASKIN STRING TRIO RETURNS The Adaskin String Trio returns to the Kosciuszko Foundation Chamber Music Series on Sunday, April 26, at 3 PM. Their program includes the Divertimento in G by Classic Polish composer Feliks Janiewicz, as well as Mozart’s popular Oboe Quartet. Beethoven’s Trio in C and a Dohnanyi Serenade fill out the program. Tickets are $25, including a reception with the artists afterward. More info....
LEE KO-EUN TOP PRIZE WINNER IN Lee Ko-Eun, a student of Jerome Lowenthal at the Juilliard School, won the $5,000 First Prize in the Kosciuszko Foundation’s 2009 Chopin Piano Competition. Ms. Lee, a 22-year old Master’s candidate, also won the $500 Jan Gorbaty Memorial Prize for the best performance of a work by Chopin. More info... Polish Vets Support WWII Essay Contest

NEW YORK: The Polish Army Veterans Association of America, District 2, has teamed up with the Kosciuszko Foundation to offer a $2,000 prize for the best essay written by an American student between ages 18 and 22 on the worldwide significance of the 1939 invasion of Poland. The second prize, paid for by the Kosciuszko Foundation, will be $1,000. More info... Banker’s network with NBP President Kosciuszko Foundation Ball to Honor KOSCIUSZKO FOUNDATION CHAIRMAN Witold Sulimirski has announced that the chair of this year's ball at the Waldorf Astoria will be Bogdan Chmielewski, Chief Executive Officer of the Polish and Slavic Federal Credit Union. With more than $1 billion in assets and 70,000 members, the PSFCU is the largest ethnic credit union in the United States.
